The
biography of M.L. Jaisimha, 'My
Way',
was released by Indian batting legend and arguably
Jai's biggest fan, Sunil Gavaskar at the ML
Jaisimha Cricket 365 Academy, Hyderabad on November
14, 2005.
Written by A. Joseph Antony, Special Correspondent,
Sports with The Hindu in Hyderabad and Jayanthi
Jaisimha the biography carries many wonderful
insights into one of India's most glamorous
and shrewd cricketers. The first copy of the
book was presented by Gavaskar to V.V.S. Laxman,
one of Jai's protégés, in the
presence of a huge crowd. Many of Jai's old
friends, team mates and students attended the
function prominent among them being test cricketers
Gavaskar, V.V.S. Laxman, Shivlal Yadav, Venkatapathy
Raju and Noel David among others.
